My in-laws walked in and I could see the relief and delight on their faces. That moment alone made every bit of planning worth it.
The staff deserves a special mention. They were helpful, responsive, and wonderfully unobtrusive when needed, never in the way. Throughout the stay, any question or request was met with warmth and efficiency.

The Simple Things That Made It Special:

Afternoons by the infinity pool, the water perfectly framed against the valley below. Slow mornings with no agenda. Beautiful evenings sitting together as a family not in a restaurant or a tourist spot, but just there, together, on the property. This is the kind of quality time that’s hard to manufacture and impossible to plan; it just happens when the environment is right. EWA gave us that environment.
The villa also has a working farm feel to it. There’s something grounding about being on land that’s alive and tended. Children especially would love it; the property is spacious enough for them to roam, and the animals on the grounds made for more than one delightful detour during our morning walks.
And then there was breakfast. Oh, breakfast. Fresh jamuns picked straight from a tree on the property, served alongside our morning meal. It sounds like such a small detail, but it brought back floods of childhood memories for all of us. There’s something about the taste of something grown right there, unhurried, that no five-star hotel buffet can replicate.
