POLICIES & REGULATIONS
BOOKING PROCESS
- In the interests of security and to prevent fraud, guests are required to confirm their identity by providing their valid government issued photo identification (Driving License, Aadhaar Card, Passport, Vehicle Registration). PAN Card is not accepted.
- It is mandatory for all foreign nationals to possess a photocopy and original copies of their respective passports and visas. If requested, please produce the same to the caretaker/manager at the time of check- in.
- The primary guest must be at least 18 years of age to check-in at our property. Minors in the property must always be accompanied by their parents/guardians.
PROPERTY RULES
- Guests are required to strictly adhere to the check-in time of 2:00 p.m., with the check-in window only being available from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Additionally, strict compliance to the 11:00 a.m. check-out time on the day of departure is mandatory and non-negotiable.
- Visitors may stay at the property from 10:00 a.m. till 6:00 p.m. Visitors are not permitted after 6 p.m. Guest(s) can have only a maximum of 3 visitors at a time. Registered guest(s) is responsible for all persons visiting the property and must confirm with the hosts before inviting visitors into the property.
- Services of our staff at the property will not be available between 11:00 p.m. & 7:00 a.m. unless it is an emergency. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Loud music, noises, or other devices must be kept at a respectful low level at all times.
- The property must be maintained in the same condition as given at the time of check-in. Any damage to property during the stay shall attract a penalty. A suitable fine shall be levied based on the extent of damage caused. Damage to mattresses and linen including; towels, mattress pads, sheets, bedspreads, blankets resulting from the use of body oils, make-up, shoe-polish, etc. will result in a charge for the special cleaning, repair or replacement of the damaged article.
- The furnishings at the property must be not be used for any purpose other than their intended purposes. Refrain from moving pieces of furniture outside the house or outside the permissible space.
- In case of any damages or issues during your stay, kindly report it to the host within 90 minutes of check-in. Unreported damages will be deemed as occurring during the stay.
- Some of our properties do not allow pet(s). If travelling with pet(s), please ensure to confirm with us before the booking process is completed. In case the booking is confirmed with a pet, the pet is strictly not allowed on the furniture and the pet should have its own bed for sleeping.
- Possession of the following is strictly prohibited in the property
- Restricted or endangered species of flora or fauna. Any such possession must be declared in prior and must be supported with the required documents.
- Items with an offensive odour, or items which emit a high pitched sound. Inflammable or combustible items, such as gunpowder or volatile oil.
- Guns, swords or stimulant drugs etc. of which possession is prohibited by law.
- Bicycles hover boards & roller blades are not permitted on the property – indoors and on the lawn.
- Please understand and accept that during the Guests’ absence, our staff at the property may enter the rooms for servicing them. Our staff shall notify you before doing so.
- Smoking indoors is strictly prohibited. These include smoking tobacco, marijuana, illegal drugs, e-cigarettes, vape pens, cartridges containing the liquid of nicotine, hookahs, incense or cigars. Use of incense, scented candles & essential oils is also prohibited at the property. Violation of this prohibition will be subject to a fine.
- For properties with a swimming pool:
- No diving in shallow water.
- No running or horseplay around the pool area. No glass containers in the pool area.
- Children under the age of 14 should be accompanied by an adult at all times. Proper swimming attire required (no street clothes, cut-off shorts, etc.).
- No smoking or use of tobacco products in the pool area.
- No eating or drinking in the pool (except for water in a non-glass container) or throwing of objects into the pool.
- Do not enter the pool with open cuts or wounds, or if you have a contagious illness.
- It is prohibited to consume eatables in spaces other than the designated zones. All eatables must be consumed in the dining area of the villa. Carrying of food/eatables/beverages into the bedrooms is strictly prohibited.
- Guests must leave the property in a reasonably clean state, ensuring appliances and furniture are turned off and returned to their original positions.
- Proper disposal of trash is a must and it should not be left outside the property. Failure to comply may result in extra cleaning charges and taxes.
BOOKING POLICY
- 100% of Advance payment has to be made for the confirmation of the booking
- The reservation cannot be transferred to third persons, even if the period for which the primary guest paid has not yet expired. The primary guest has to always be available at the property during the period of stay We request our guests to abide by all local laws and regulations during their stay to ensure a smooth experience
- No parties, loud disturbances and/or noise-nuisance are allowed or tolerated on the property. In the event of a disturbance, one polite request (warning) will be given to reduce the noise. If our request is not followed, the guest will be asked to leave the premises without refund.
- In case of extension of stay, the guests will have to inform the management 24 hours in advance of their original check out time. Stay extension shall be provided subject to availability
- Use of the property images for commercial purposes is strictly prohibited without the prior permission from the hosts. Suitable action shall be taken in case of violation of this rule.
- In cases of special events (Party or group gathering), a different rate will be charged.
- Based on extreme conditions, climatic changes, social disturbances and scenarios affecting the transit of daily goods, certain clauses are subject to amendment and changes without prior notice to the guests.
PERSONAL SAFETY
- Guests of legal age who choose to bring their own alcoholic beverages must consume them responsibly in the designated areas only. Drinking on the beach is strictly prohibited. Guests must ensure to dispose of the bottles in the right manner.
- In case of a beachside, riverside or waterfront properties, guests are requested to exercise a considerable amount of caution while venturing into unfamiliar waters to avoid untoward incidents. We shall not be responsible for any loss of life or property.
- Our property is theft proof and we assure you the best of service and security. However, to avoid unpleasant situations, guests are solely responsible for the safety of their valuables at all times.
SECURITY DEPOSITS
- Guests must pay a “Security Deposit” along with 100% booking amount in advance for the confirmation of the booking
- This deposit covers potential losses from damages, including pet-related and other issues, during the stay.
- Damages to property, equipment, appliances, and other items will be charged to the guest.
- Guests need prior consent for relocating property items; unauthorized changes may result in forfeiture of the security deposit.
DAMAGE REIMBURSEMENT
- Guests are responsible for any incurred damages, including individual components of sets and their corresponding replacements, as well as all material items within and outside the property which is the part of the property. Repairs or replacements due to damages will be arranged by EWA Properties. These costs will be deducted from the provided security deposit.
SECURITY DEPOSIT REFUNDS
- Security deposit refunds won’t be immediate but made within 30 days of check-out.
- Refund amount will be determined by property inspection for damages, which is binding and final.
CANCELLATION POLICY
Refund will not be applicable in case check-in is denied due to non-compliance to our “Regulations & Policies” and/or non-availability of suitable photo identification.
Cancellation charges are as follows:
- 50% cancellation fee is applicable for bookings cancelled between 30 days to 7 days prior to day of
- 100% cancellation fee is applicable for bookings cancelled 7 days prior to check-
- 0% cancellation fees for booking cancelled when there is more than 30 days to the day of arrival
- No refund shall be provided in case of a no-show.
Please Note: The policies are not applicable for Dec 01st-Jan 30th. Bookings during this period are non- refundable on cancellation.
ACCEPTANCE OF OUR POLICIES AND REGULATIONS
Kindly acknowledge the receipt and understanding of the above Rules and Regulations by replying to this document as accepted. If no response is received within 48Hours, it will be considered that you have accepted and agreed to abide by the provided rules during your stay at our properties.
